When I hear ladies (even much younger than me) say,"Cameo is an old woman's thing,"I must confess that I would like to show them some photos of classy women who are famous precisely for loving these beautiful jewels.
It is those very same"style icons"that these ladies, perhaps in their inner selves, would like to try to imitate.
The beauty of a piece of jewelry or a dress is always enhanced by the class of the wearer!
And if there is little class or personality even the most beautiful dress on the most perfect and youthful body in the world will irretrievably lose its value.
However, this is not a post about class but it is a post about fantasy so now I will give you 3 simple tips on how to wear your new cameo and create yourself a"Trend".
1. As a Clasp for a Pearl Necklace
Let's start right away with the very elegant idea that our family invented many years ago.
Do you have a pearl necklace at home? All our cameos (that have a pin on the back) can be worn as a clasp for your necklace, too. 2. As a Pin to stop a scarf
Choose a suitable scarf: Be sure to select a scarf that has a thick enough weave to support the brooch without tearing. Materials such as silk or worked cotton are usually good choices.
Placement of the brooch: Decide where you wish to place the cameo on the scarf. You can opt for a central position or a corner, depending on the style you prefer.
Safety of the brooch: Before attaching the brooch, make sure it is safe to wear. Check that the brooch needle is securely attached and that there are no protruding parts that could damage the scarf or yourself.
